Here is a sketch of Scorpius on the left wearing his tradmark leather suit and the Scarran named Wolesh http://www.karlsweb.com/Gallery/GalleryImagePages/Mark/Mark_ScorpiusWolesh.htm The small pic next to Scorpy's head that has the open/close written next to it is how his coolent system works. That blue rod in there turns red after it absorbs the heat his body creates thanks to his Scarran half which thrives in extreme heat. His Sebacean half will die from it. So in effect he has to have a new cool blue rod installed after the old one is used up.

 This is Scorpius's mother who was raped by Wolesh in a breeding experiment by the Scarrans to create useful hybrids http://www.farscapefantasy.com/photos.new.Incubator1/images/incubator_045_JPG.jpg Scorpius was the only one to be saved after 90 attempted failures with the death of mother and child.

 Anyway on the Scarrans, big, brutal, very tough hides, and good at getting the truth from others.

I see the fascination hasn't faded between board changes.  :)  I just wish we could see the claws, the claws...

He just kicked the crap out of a Peacekeeper-seen lying against the wall. PK's are Sebacean-which as you can see look human, but with one exception, unlike humans sebaceans lack the gland to control temprature, so heat kills them. Scarrans love heat. Now you can see where Scorpius comes from.

 Some think the Scarrans are too ugly to write something with them in it. I think they look badass. :) The sketch I did above shows the big male Scarran (as in the photo of Cargn) have horse like faces, and the females look more human. Scarrans are bigger than humans, 66 to 7 feet is their average height. Not to mention super strong, as in they can with little problem, hurl a person for some distace or one punch can crush a person's bones.

 If a Scarran and a human mated-M/F stype that is, you'd have an offspring like Scorpius,but with no heat problems to bother him.
