I just saw on http://www.barefootstallion.org that a massive disk corruption has occured to the server's hard disk.

That's really really bad! I wonder what Canaan's gonna do with that. Don't tell me that everything on Eccentricities is gone forever?

Only indication I can see is this: "If you are a site owner on the server and you were using the database, that data has been lost and is likely not recoverable".

I've never used that site much myself though, so I don't know how the data is kept over there.

Ugh...that's really bad news.  I heard from Daryn that the site was down, but he was kinda hopeful it would be recovered.  I certainly hope the admin of the system had backups.

In case you're wondering, I do daily backups of LD5, so if something were to chooch the pooch, we'd be okay.  I'll have to give Canaan a call and see if there's anything I can do to help.

Well, I just IM'ed with Daryn, one of the moderators of the site, and he says that regardless of what the "holding page" on the site says now, that he has a backup from a few weeks ago, so hopefully the site will be up again soon!

Well... it was its old website that is down from a long time ago. He moved to another server.

And it's not "completely" about crush fetish you know. It's about anything on feet: ticklling, licking, foot massaging, stomping, crushing and so on... and it's on every kind of feet: furry, scaly, hooves...
