Well, people here usually roleplay on Faibanx MUCK.

That's, along with open-minded conversation, what it's there for.

Yeah, but Faibanx MUCK seems to be a bit complicated...

Well, if you listen to Blue, then yes, it is rocket science.  :)  However, all you do is find a good telnet chat program (like BeipMU), E-mail faibanx@lavadomefive.com for a character, and you type:

 "Hi there!  I'm chatting!

or:

: says that he likes slippers.

 ...and that's about all the commands you really need to know in order to chat.  If you want to develop complex carbohydrates, then you chat with Blue.  :)

It wasnt I who complained that there are so many spiffy commands in Faibanx and someone should write them down.
And... its not my fault for wanting to be precise and all-embracing, and being talkative.

Of course you can just stick to the town square and use a MUCK like a chatroom or instant messenger.
(Or a computer as a calculator with extra big display.)

Actually I find chatrooms way more confusing than MUCKs. But that may just be me.
(In addition to missing the actual characters, personality and possibilities of privacy a MUCK has, and always having the feeling that people on a chat or IM are doing at least half a dozen other things / chats / IM-talks at the same time.)
