Lava Dome Five

 Well, now we got this new software, we would of course like to know what is your opinion on it! Please check it out a bit and then take the poll, please tell us what you like / dont like, or why you think it is what you think it is. Telling us which browser you use can be helpful too.

The new forum software looks really nice. My only minor complaint is that it all stays down a really narrow bit of my monitor, right down the middle and doesnt spread all the way from side to side.

Aside from that its great! 

Well, I think you're in luck in that it's one thing we can actually change!  However, I suppose there are certain advantages to keeping the render width of stuff the same so that the experience is more the same for everyone.  What mega resolution does a Zilla run in? 

And for the record, it's our very own Blue who says it's "hardly better than the last one."  If I didn't know better, I'd say Blue was a 70 year old woman, the way he can bitch.  But he can make pixely toes, so I forgive him.  :)

 I like it a lot! It's big and bold like a rex, and it's full of features, like a raptor. Also it works perfectly in Firefox 2, like a stegosaurus.

Lol! Only kidding! This is pretty good, actually! Looks much more snazzy and professional. Might take a while to get used to (which I'm hoping won't take as long as the post editor took to load up... Lol!) but I think it's a change for the better.

And ultimately, provided we don't get any tossers... I mean spammers... (no, no, tossers was right, tossers was definitely right) then it was well worth it!

I like it very much! I am the type of guy who likes the smooth clean professional feel to a webpage. This is very smooth as well. Also... it looks great with vista!!! 

Don't forget to turn off email subscriptions at the top to threads you post in, or you'll get an email for every post after yours.  And for me, that means an empty email with an attachment that is equally empty. 

I think there's an option in the Edit Profile bit somewhere that you can choose whether to automatically subscribe to threads you reply to or not. Click "No" where it says "Enable Email Notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts".

I believe that's what it does, anyway.

You should be able to just disable E-mail to your account altogether as well in your personal options.
