Well, how do I say it...
A friend of mine put it, "A RL picture gallery would suck, because the site isn't all based on RL".
Now while I would have liked to put it into nicer words, that quite gets to the point. There are plenty of places for that kind of thing, and I dont think I would like LD5 looking like one of them. Feel of course free to show around what you like as long as Dino doesnt mind, just dont expect me to dig it, as I prefer interaction focused on the character, not on the player, and I know a lot of folks do so too. If I really feel like sharing rl information with someone I like, we do so in private. After all, many a fur started out here and on Faibanx MUCK because they could be anonymous, able to talk freely about what they keep secret from anyone they know.

Anyway, I am totally undercover. So no rl data or pics of me in forums. Let alone public ones.

pardon me for making the effort of getting to know each other better i was under the impression that this was a place were we could all mingle and get know each other better 

i agree dinoboy. since starting off my fetishes, its always been my dream to meet someone like me. i hope that somehow, sometime we could all meet up and stuff. im hoping to go anthrocon 08 so prehaps we could do it there or something. as for putting up a pic of myself, im not sure yet i did on eccentries but i dont want to here. prahaps im nervous that this site has been in bizarremag and a few people might see me and kill me (literally. bloody lager louts, inde music lovers and chavs!) but say ing that i am planning to send a pic of me to ultra vipers to bizarremag so im not sure. i just dont know yet. but if i cange my mind, ill put a pic straght here!

Oh this place is where we can get to know eachother better,  Where else can you talk about dinos/dragons and not worry about spammers like in other places.

What if LD5 had its own place irl for us to meet up?

Or we could have some kind of party on faibanx setup so we can all meet up and talk, just so we know everyone around here more..

Why shouldnt there be rl meetings? I met tons of folks from here irl already, 16 from Faibanx alone at this recent anthrocon, and I enjoyed it very much. A lot of folks from here know each other irl by now, and of course there can and should be rl meetings, dont misunderstand me. (Though I would suggest just meeting at a big furry con.) All that has nothing to do with posting rl pictures in public in my opinion.

Just to say that I know the response to this has disappointed dinoboy a little. I agree with Blue - I don't wanna be browsing the forum and stumble across loads of borin ol' human RL non-foot-related photos! Lol! Plus I'd never dream of posting my face anywhere in this community. But I appreciate dinoboy's idea.

It might be better just to ask if people are interested in meeting each other in RL, then get some more exclusive contact details from that person so you can send them a photo if necessary rather than posting it into the community.
