Hm... well, I think the first forum ever was the best: http://www.lavadomefive.com/forums/ . I was registered there under the name Gojira. Now the third forum and reregister anew? Very well, I'll do it, though, it might have its reasons why the first one has been shut down and the second one was too comples.

There was another before that? I didn't notice that, I encountered LD5 in 2005 for the first time. *it's too confusing*
Well as you can read on top of the page LD5 has ben around since 1994, though under different names, lates LD4, before that LD3, and before that the MacrocosM. I wouldnt know of anything pre-1997 myself though. : )
