• Faibanx MUCK -- where to go from here?

Well, as some of you who were on the muck know, it was a few months ago we tried to "upgrade" the muck with little success. Here's something to get Blue nervous about to distract him from website futzing -- should we look into upgrading Faibanx MUCK again, or do people like things as they are?

  • So here we go, impossible again

(With apologies to Erasure.) Yes, this just a token post to indicate that when the LD5 website has settled (e.g. when Blue is restrained in a padded cell), and when I have at least one Dinosaucers DVD under my belt, I haven't given up on the whole Faibanx 3D virtual reality RP gaming whatever concept. I still have tons of models to use ...

  • Back to basics -- how many have seen Dinosaucers?

Well, since we're starting the LD5 website and forums anew, how about for giggles we have a poll as to if/how you've seen the old cartoon show Dinosaucers that inspired this site 13 years ago? [poll] I suppose that I should also mention that today, June 16th, is Fern Day. All violence is forbidden for 24 hours. Yes, not even ...

  • Re: How do you like the new forum software?

And for the record, it's our very own Blue who says it's "hardly better than the last one." If I didn't know better, I'd say Blue was a 70 year old woman, the way he can bitch. But he can make pixely toes, so I forgive him. :)

Well, I think you're in luck in that it's one thing we can actually change! However, I suppose there are certain advantages to keeping the render width of stuff the same so that the experience is more the same for everyone. What mega resolution does a Zilla run in?

  • Re: New Look / Color Shemes

I'm playing with new smileys myself. I think Blue needs to make one more, though, to complete the set since I somehow messed up what he gave me. Stompy!

  • Re: And so we begin anew...

Oh, and by the way, Blue, I just updated the software to the latest patch that just came out for it. Let me know if any of those hundred million behind-the-scenes issues you're worrying too much about went away. :)

  • Re: And so we begin anew...

Well, I think the new forum software is hot shit compared to the last crap we had. And this is the same forum software that Microsoft uses, so you know it's going to be supported for quite a while, and isn't some flash-in-the-pan. And it won't be much more work until we can debut this thing publically. And I like ...

  • Further Devotion

Here's my sequel to Final Devotion...yeah, see, the last one was "Final", so...it's like "Final" Fantasy...yeah, okay, you get it. This one I tried to make a clever twist in. Watch how bad I did!
