Just a heads-up folks: there's a volcano near Ankh Ridge (home of the Dome) that has been threatening to go. If it does, there's a good chance we'll have an ashfall here, which means I will have to shut down LD5 services for the duration and maybe a little longer. You see, silica ash will eat up a computer or machine in no time flat when it gets inside, so in the event of an impending ashfall, everything gets turned off and sealed up tight. If you find you can't get to LD5, check out the website of the Alaska Volcano Observatory and see if Redoubt has gone off. :)

Damn, and I can't believe I didn't see the irony in all this until just NOW. Wow.

So in a few days we might be looking at Lavadome 6? ;)

For a moment I thought the irony was in a volcano being in Alaska at all, much less an active one. Sorry, it's just that when it comes to geology I pretty much have a brick for a brain.

Are you still here? :|

But if a volcano comes, LD6 will be a renovation, yes?

Not to you. :P

I think the irony is in lava dome. And I dont want to have alll the logos and name changing again! LD5 is good. And it should go with Dino's slacking and the motto of someone who built things with their own bare claws, What we have is good enough.
:ld5:
You may march now Dino.

March, or flee in terror. Whichever may be more appropriate at the time. :3

Yeah, I dunno if an LD6 could work. You have to move cities to get a new Dome. Even when we find a house, it'll be in Anchorage most likely, so things will remain LD5.

*marches for Blue*

Faibanx and Ankh Ridge are cities. Faibanx was Lava Dome Four, Ankh Ridge is Lava Dome Five. Pennsylvania was Lava Dome Three. Colorado was Lava Dome Two. Reptilon is Lava Dome.

And Paris, France is Lava Dome Zero, made during a strange trip back in time. Ahh, those wild and crazy years Dino had, being a rebel and joining the wine sipping weird dressing smelly french people over in that neck of the woods.

Incidentally, the gradual hardening to the smells of that strange city is what kindled his love for smelly reptile paws. They're the same don't you know! So the next time you're getting your rocks off to unwashed kruft-caked Godzilla feet, remember to have some fancy coffee and toast the French!

I'm sure they're somehow related.

The following historical event may or may not have happened. Relations to any events, real or imagined, is purely up to mindset of the reader. Purple monkey dishwasher. If you're still reading this, you likely increased the text size for whatever reason. We should really make Dino a giant more often, its so fun. Perhaps get him hooked on big round bellies as well as Paws. Scalies whom are huge and wide go so very well with giant puffy paws too. Don't you think? Time travel is fun! You should all try it sometime. Damn you causality!
