So that way, I can see his performance. ;)

The hard way. :|

EDIT: Both of us have tried being HOSTs and got each other's IP without any passwords needed, but it doesn't work.

Are you sure you have Open Canvas set up properly? - It works fine on my Vista...

Maybe OC just doesn't like you for some reason!

lol Ragnos its either your firewall is not setup properly for Open canvas im running windows vista it runs fine but your isp must allow direct connections to your computer.

OpenCanvas won't work behind a router without either some port forwarding, or that software-that-virtualises-things-that-I-can't-remember-the-name-of-at-the-moment. It's likely to be either that, or a firewall issue blocking the required port. There's no reason why OC on Vista and OC on anything else won't talk to each other (assuming the clients are running properly on both machines).

If you toecaress Dino hard enough, or make Blue kick Dino hard enough, maybe we could convince Dino to set up an Oekaki system, or an OC server at the dome, that'd be interesting.

Hmm...I didn't want to say different OS's though...

But why it won't work is probably why it is blocked.

I'm not blocking anything. And when me and Shadow used OC, it worked fine for us. hmmm............ :?:

I meant that something blocked the connection.

Maybe you should ask Shadow how the connection worked.

In other news, we already do have a chat room. Its called Faibanx! You just need to connect to it. Either via the built in browser connecting thingie up in the muck link, or via a muck program.

As made perfect clear in Blue's Faibanx muck page, there's even a link to the web access for Faibanx so you don't even need a MUCK client. (though the web client isn't as good as a proper client).

http://www.lavadomefive.com/faibanx/web ... ibanx.html

Read the information Ragnos, really. Everything you need to know is at http://www.lavadomefive.com/faibanx

Mmmm, I can smell the love! No, wait, that's just Blue's slipper. :slipper: And I thought the request was for the OpenCanvas collaborative stuff, not a chat system.
