It would appear that researchers have found preserved dinosaur feathers trapped inside amber. ^^ Further proof that some of the critters were feathery.

Feathery & fuzzy dinosaurs would be a good indication that some of them at least were endothermic. Seeing as feathers and fluff are meant to keep heat IN, not help you absorb it from the outside. :3

Only unawesome scalythings have feathers.

Don't feathers do both? If you ruffle 'em out, can't you use 'em like a radiator?

I'm not sure Dino! Not that I know of.

And I'm not feathery and fluffy, Blue! I'm merely fat. :D

Nothing says big rexies were covered in feathers and fluff! ^^ Besides, I like leathery hide and scales better. :D

The realization that dinosaurs are intently associated with birds increased the plain threat of feathered dinosaurs. Fossils of Archaeopteryx hold well-retained feathers, but it was not until the mid-nineteen nineties that clearly non-avialan dinosaur fossils were came upon with maintained feathers. Since then, more than 20 genera of dinosaurs, mostly theropods, include been noticed to include been feathered.

Wow, awesome, the first bothit ever! I guess even furries can be slimeball bot programmers. :) It really got me, it did seem kinda tardy, but I figured if it used a word like "fursona" maybe it was a real person. I'll remove the ad link.

I mean...shit, I'd be cool with robots signing up for the forum and tossing a few ads around that are easy to ignore, if they webrape and bring me sexy paw/slipper pictures...but just pulling up wiki entries is kinda lame. :)

Especially when they subtly contain evil feather propaganda. :worried:
