I think this was in Oklahoma sometime last summer, but tickets were already sold out by the time I found out about it.

Wow, that was a brilliantly heavy and organic looking dino foot!

Those model makers knew what they were doing.

All pawsluts, I tells you!
(then again, the BBC WWD animation crew were one of the few that added realistic cloacas too. So they either are just very precise (and thus clearly raptorlandish) or dinophile in general. :D )

It was on the news the other day that one of the smaller dinos ($50,000 worth) got stolen from the Walking with Dinosaurs show in Mexico. One assumes either stolen by a scalie, or more likely the dinosaur in question was due to have a contract negotiation, and walked out over pay. Or maybe it was on the run from the law and figured Mexico was a good place to 'disappear'.

It probably went to Mexico to start one of those UFO religions. Or maybe his name was Khith.

It wasn't me! I was stolen from a movie studio, not from a live performance dino show. There's a difference! Was it another raptor? All I can find is that it was one of the smaller ones that was remote controlled. Nobody reports on which one is missing. If it's another raptor, I'll have to go and visit. Or maybe WWD needs a new performer.

It most have been a crime of passion(Fan, Dinoephile, or disgruntled employee) cause People that steal shit for money would have taken something worth money....

ok I know that it was worth $50,000, but who the hell would pay that much for it? I would lay money if you tried to fence that anywhere you would get laughed at. You have to keep in mind just because something cost $50,000 to make doesn't mean its going to be worth that to all consumers especially in the black market where the majority of consumers want Jewelry, or unregistered guns...

The sound effects are a little over-the-top, and the models are wobbly, but its still neat. :3

Apparently these were created for a science center or some such. They're completely untethered, and walk around on their own doing their rar-stompy things. They seem somewhat undersized, but still neat to see autonomous dinosaur robots having fun. :3
