Alloy rabbit's tumblr askblog (non-pony) that I found a while back.

Someday, perhaps after college, I hope to have the time (moreover sanity) to post in threads other than (just) this thread.

Btw, these links should all work in general but tumblr seems to be having issues with some requests at the moment so be patient, mash F5, or come back later, etc.

Once upon a time, the Barenstain Bears had an animated Thanksgiving special, featuring a giant bear-thing. His theme song highlights both chomping and stomping. Say hello to Big Paw.

Hrm, there's something very Schoolhouse Rock about that animation...relation? Not in stomping, I mean in animation style...

Nature.com presents: How To Eat a Triceratops

Apparently there's still a debate over whether or not T. Rex was a scavenger. I did learn something new about their arms, though:
Quote:
According to James Horner, the arm of the T-rex was about as long as an adult human's arm. However, the upper arm was buried in the musculature, so that only the lower arm and hand were exposed. Also, the arms were capable of lifting up to 800 pounds (about 350kg). This was mitigated by the fact that the elbow could only rotate by about 45 degrees or so, so range of motion was very limited.
And another thing:

Did you know that the trex's tiny arms were possibly used for sexual contact to hold themselves together like hugging as well as to stroke their dicks... According to science monthly and a Dino documentary on animal planet that's what they said ill post the link!!!
