Hi everybody! It crossed my mind today after I was had to tell someone about myself and what I like! For some reason I was then asked (LOL) what turns me on if you know what I mean! In which I obviously replied big reptile feet!

I was then laughed at! this has happened quite alot of times in my life... And when people look at me its like they don't accept me because of what I like! I had been searching for years to find somewhere or someone who would accept me for who I was and what I liked. This is why I joined this site because here others actually accept me and like what I like! Thanks everybody for helping me realise that I am not just a strange individual!

Here's the straight scoop. The Internet, being what it is, has room for everybody, even us. Da Dome is a small niche, but it's our niche. Trouble tends to arise when people wander out of their niche, then are confused as to why they are no longer surrounded by like-minded individuals.

I joined here, more or less, because I could. This place allows me to share things I could not discuss with anyone who knows me in real life. And to think, the chain of events all started when my parents allowed me to purchase and play an M-rated game at the tender age of (MESSAGE REDACTED). And when I have an opinion worth sharing, well... lurking wouldn't cut it.

Well, I came upon it when it had just become Lava Dome Three, it was one of the very few places for furry that existed back then, it had big scaly stuff. Only the very first generation of later on really popular furs had left it by then, and it took me quite a few years of lurking and hovering around the tubes before I actually joined.
Joining was still rather random. Staying is because people here are nice and it's best. Though most people don't want best somehow, and go for fullest or most popular instead, but that is another rant.

Hi, I just joined the comunity today (march 4, 2011) and what brought me here was almost the same thing that brought rexy,exclusion...

I never talked of what i really liked, not even wih parents, as it obviuslly will seem strange if I say i like to see things crushed or smashed...anyway, here as said everybody shares the same thing, "the art of paws", actually im not an artist, dont even know the basics of photoshop, but, i appreciate every single draw shown here, in special ahastar's and diablo's arts, specially their great masterpiece at making videos, but dont take it as im crediting them more, every single draw here deserve its respect on the time spent there.

Well. I found this site loooooong before I joined this site. This was the second macrophile-based website that I found (After Big-Clawz). And I guess I truly found out I like macrophiliac art from simply glancing on this board time to time. I was an odd kid I guess.

So. After about five or so years, I decide to join, hoping to meet some people I can talk about my "dark interest" with. I've met some really awesome people because of this site and it's been great to find people with my tastes and interest. No one I know in real life knows about my interest and I can't put up an ad on Craigslist that states "Needs someone to talk about big reptile feet with" now can I?

I thought precisely the same thing - it has to be our rumored-to-be-small reptile brains.
Or probably something else.

I was quite surprised when I knew I was not only one to have fun with these sort of things.
I even did not know what forum is. Then I found people share the same interests on this forum and decided to join.

Yes, being able to finally talk with someone about my furry/scaly likings was a big part of what made me join too. I read the (((old!) old) old) forum back then, felt it was bad I couldn't contribute. There were obviously people that enjoy something close to what I enjoy out there, and by that time I felt I should get involved, or at least contribute some, in the new anonymous medium called the internet.
It was amazing to finally speak about that on the MUCK, let alone playing some of it.

It is also pretty normal for furries to use their fursona/character like a sercret online identity, and I can only recommend having different email address and IM account and all for the furry stuff from that for business/family/friends-that-don't-know. Like sneaky super heroes...
Privacy has become a big concern on the internet, and you will probably want control over whom you allow to know that <your real life name here> is also YiffyLover, the macro fox that squishes people underfoot and poops on buildings.

Hee hee gosh...I'm gonna have to think way back for this one! Well, I've had this love all my life, and I came across LD5 "accidentally" when I was about 13ish. I was still satisfying myself with random macro content from movies and cartoons and such, but when I got on a computer in my middle school's computer lab and found you guys, that's when it all changed! ^__^ I thought I was the only one in the world with this "weird" desire, and once I found out that all you guys were right along with me, it made me feel tons better!

I finally signed up and joined the rest of the gang just a few months ago, after being a lurker for about 5 years. So it's been very recent with me, and you can call me a n00b, I don't mind! I do want to thank all of you that you're so open and accepting to all the macrophiles that finally come into the light and need a place where they're accepted among their own kind.

A more blunt answer I suppose would be that I love macros, paws and any form of big vs. small, and that's exactly what I can get from LD5! So yeah! Take that! XD
