I decided yesterday to finally make a Macrophile.com account. Well, it was supposed to send me an account activation email but it never did. I read on the site that it says to contact an admin. Yeah, I could've guessed at that... the thing is that it gives me no stupid information on how to do so. Great job Macrophile.com. You suck. Anyways, does anyone know how to? Or am I just stupid and missed something, though something tells me it must be inconspicuous if it's actually there.

Well... if the confirmation mail doesn't appear in your mailbox and you can't contact an Admin by mail
then I guess you've got bad-luck! ^^;
But actually it's the Admins fault for not posting his E-mail adress for you to contact him/her.
In those cases it means it's a bad forum site. ;)

And if you really want to go on a macro forum then take this advice: Go to either Offscale or Bigfurs.
Seriously...
Macrophile.com is known for it's un-friendly attitude. :(
They seriously even made a topic with hate-drawings (or fight drawings) as some sort of fun.
Plus they allow human artwork. (others are against it, but they just don't care)
I'm a member there, so I know what's going on there.
(that's also the reason why I don't post so much there.)

So if you're looking for a furry or scaly friendly forum, either try the two sites I gave you just now.
Because if it's trouble, pain and dispair you're looking for: 'Macrophile.com' is a good place.
And I assume that's not what you're looking for. ^^;

Hay, and what about us? *is offended* :worried:

As for m.com... Lets say it has a lot of very unfriendly and a lot of agrressive folks, that are very loud and quick with rude postings and often not in the slightest open-minded, and I think it suffers greatly from those even if they are a minority.

Well, you do need to have something shitty to compare all the good forums to. :)

I hate to say this but recently I've been increasingly tempted to join up there as well... but for one reason and one reason only: DNA's eternally-anticipated "Free Lunch" conclusion. I was this close to making a thread asking to briefly borrow the M account of anyone else here, solely for the image privileges.

Honestly, I don't know anywhere else on the whole wide Internet they could be... not fchan, surprisingly... Mataki's page is the next best thing but that only updates once a month on a GOOD year... DNA hasn't touched his Dome account in years yet he still lists it as his homepage... :(

DNA's site, atleast where I'm looking for it ( http://hemispherecentral.com/dna/comicspage.html ) is down, so I woulda just said to go and get the fresh .zip of Free Lunch there...

Go to /a/ on Fchan, and ask, maybe? There are a few macros on there who'd probably hook you up (posting DNA's stuff is okay; I just checked) — even if they're not willing to individually upload each page... they'd probably e-mail it for ya or whatev. Hell, hit up the artist directly if you want.

Macrophile used to be a lot better back in the day. Hell, I've been there since the early days. ^^() Either late '99 or early 2000. Either way, I think 'tis on its third incarnation now. These days it seems to be a mildly hostile place, where you're either flamed or ignored unless you're one of a very select few artists who post things. I know I'm generally ignored. ^^

As for DNA's free lunch comic, I've got every page to date saved n' archived just for kicks. :3 If he doesn't have a problem with re-distribution of his stuff, I can happily fire it off for more people to enjoy.

Sure thing Patch. ^^ I'll fire off a note to the fellow or something. He's super busy these days, so it might be a few days before I get a heads up.

There you go kids. ^^ DNA told me it was quite alright with him if I zipped it all up and distributed it here. Enjoy!

*gasp!* Is... is it really all there? FA went kaput just after 80, and I was lucky to archive that one for myself...
Oh! Yes! Now hopefully not to spoil too much for myself, I just want to be sure 89 is the true ending page...
OK. As the old saying goes, the fat lady has not yet sung. Still... nine fresh pages in all their majesty.

YOU ROCK!
YOU ROCK!
YOU ROCK!

So I'm guessing it's still going then or is this all that he made? I'm not up to date with whomever makes (made) it. ^^;

89 is as much as he's done so far. ^^ He's not done with it yet!
