Legacy LD5

In case everyone is wondering why it may be quiet around Faibanx or here for the next week, it's Khan(tm) time again. What I'm told is the biggest "furry" convention in the country, Anthrocon, run by an old friend of mine Kagemushi, is taking place this weekend, as I believe it does every 4th of July weekend (it's an Amerikan hollowday). I don't go to cons anymore myself, haven't for many years, and maybe one of these days I'll post a permanent infomercial rant about it on the LD5 pages, but lots of people enjoy them and there are quite a few of them around these days.

Anyway, as usual, Faibanx MUCK will be the place for all us lusers to hang out at who aren't going. Blue is even going there all the way from Raptorland, so I get a vacation! For the next few days, all services are free on Faibanx MUCK! Go crazy go nuts!

Well, somebody had to go to hand out the Faibanx buttons to folks.
Besides, I only draw at furrz cons and felt it was time to put out a doodle or two again.
Hope you have a fun time at the MUCK without us Kahn-goers none the less though.

I don't know that the con experience has ever been my thing. I just sort of fade into the background noise and get bored. Course, I've never been to a furry convention, but it seems to be pretty much like any other.

It also helps that I have no money and no job.

The con will be over soon enough.
Then people will share their loot.

I know the feeling, Selendro. I wouldn't know the first thing about furry conventions either! Plus I live in England which would make it very costly. Still, I would like to go just once to see what it's like.

So far one of the most fun things at this con has been meeting Blue. He's totally different IRL. I mean, he actually has hand motions to go along with his rantings. ;D

Gosh, I am so tired. This con is stealing my sleep. D: That's so far the only gripe I have about the con. I really hope I don't die due to a lack of it.

Pssh, no one sleeps at a Khan, silly wolfie.

The only time I went to AC in the past was when I could make a decent holiday out of it by spending a a couple of weeks over there with friends, to make the flights cost effective. Since it moved to Pittsburgh, and since my friends moved away from that general state/area, there's nothing to make a 3 day trip to a con worth the cost of the flights any more.

So.... who lives near FC?
