So as Blue dropped in another thread, I recently uploaded the entire Reptilian movie for the hopeful enjoyment of all. And now I steal a bit of design from Blue.

:zillaleft: Reptilian (Yonggary) :zillaright:

Image

Summary (IMDB): A team of scientists working on a remote dig site find the buried body of an enormous monster, perfectly preserved even after 200 million years. As soon as the beast is uncovered, however, an alien spacecraft suddenly appears above them and brings the monster back to life! The creature immediately sets about leveling the surrounding urban landscape and shrugging off the best firepower the military can throw at it. A lone scientist, working on decrypting an ancient set of hieroglyphics, may be on the verge of finding the aliens' weak point, but will it be too late?

Fun fact: Yonggary means literally 'Huge Dragon'. I think we can all get behind that.

Codec: H.264 MPEG-4
Size: 1.15 GB

Download (Right Click-Save Link As): Movie Download (I want to see the monster now, plz.)

Trouble playing? Download This

It's a cheesy-fun movie. American actors were hired to give it more international appeal, but obviously they were working from the bottom of the barrel. I've seen one or two really great South Korean movies, so I know they have actors there. But really, for something like this it's hard to say if it's a benefit or a detriment. ;)

It's just good fun, I think.

Heh, just thought I'd post it in this thread, because it's not maybe as on topic. But thinking about good giant monsters made me think about this movie Galgameth. Maaaaan is it the cheese. (I've seen worse, though, believe me. In this vein, I mean. Watch Quest for the Delta Knights) It's a 90s kids movie, and has the generic fantasyish medievalish place and that very very 90s kids fantasy music sound. The monster isn't really huge that much, but still, it's kind of interesting. If you have any interest in this sort of thing.

There's also apparently an actor named Time Winters in it, and that is an awesome name.

I'm providing the weird and obscure to those that would not otherwise be exposed to it.

This crap is hard to come by! I know, because I had to try to come by it. But if there's one thing you'll learn about me, is that if a movie exists, I'll find it somehow. There's only one I failed to and that's because it's never been out on video ever, and was only seen in film festivals. Which is bullshit, but man.

Galgameth comes to you courtesy of Australia. And even they didn't care much about it, but it's a little better than VHS.

Wow. That is a really RAAAAWRsome movie ideed. I like it.
What I liked best? Well, Yonggary of course. Dammit. Could fill a towel by just watching any of his movements.

But there are other great fun things, that made me laugh.
- The bad acting, to start with. As its what the movie starts with.
- The dino sketches filling the wall of that chick's work space, that look remarkably like your average scaly porn sketch
- The dixie toilet labelled "Toilet" :D Well what did you think what's in there?
- The kids all cheering because its so much fun that the city explodes around them and they almost got killed.
- The little plushy and mini potted plant on the monitors in the super ultra top military control room. 8-)
But most of all: The aliens.
Oh my, those aliens gave me the rest. I had to close the window to not freak out my neighbors, so loud was I laughing.
Oh my, it still hurts.

Freaking awesome movie, thanks a lot biggiedragon. :)
