Yep, I'm leaving.
Okay, that's a bit melodramatic. Some of you might have heard me talking about hotels and trying to find a way to encrypt muck and furry pr0nz traffic in a hotel wi-fi on Faibanx, and that's all true.
So, last week, I got a new job. It starts Monday. It isn't local (actually, only about 2 hours down the road, so not massively far, but too long to commute every day). But as of Sunday night I'll be living out of a hotel in Nottingham while flat-hunting in the evenings and working in the day time. I have no idea what sort of net access I'll have at the hotel, but I certainly won't be around all the time like I have been for the last 18 months (Wow, it really has been 18 months unemployed, though granted I've only been looking for work for the last 4 months really, various family matters took up the other 14.)
Once I do find a place to move in to, I'll have to arrange net access again, which will probably be at least another month that I'll be completely offline. So, 6 weeks or more in total, the first 2-3 weeks I might have a little bit of wi-fi access, the weeks after that I'll have no access at all. Booooo.
(Incidentally, if anyone is familiar with Nottingham, can they recommend any good places to find a flat, or any areas to avoid?)
And that's all. Will see you around when I get back online properly, whenever it may be.
