Legacy LD5

Well, due to popular demand (and more Blue nagging), we're going to do Match Game LD5 again this hollow-day season. Match Game is a game show (also known as Blankety Blank) where two contestants try to match answers with famous celebrities (in this case, random volunteers from LD5) to win prizes. So, since I need to have time to think up more questions and since everyone needs advance notice of when it'll be, it will be held on Faibanx MUCK in the LD5 Match Game studios at 4pm local Faibanx time (GMT -9) on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008. I'll try to think of/get something good for the prize again this year, but not sure if I'll have a selection for winners to choose from.

I would hope that some of the regulars on the panel-o-celebrities will return, but there's always room for Jay-Eee-L-L-Oh. This thread will serve as the sign-up sheet for the game, and this top post will list who's currently assigned. Please do not sign up unless you can dedicate a good 3 hours of time towards the game. Videotaping of the game will start promptly at 4pm, so please be on hand at least half hour in advance to receive instructions. Audience members will be sequestered in the studio audience room. People leaving in the middle is a recurring problem (including contestants), so we have spaces for alternates as well.

That's an insane 1am here. Will obviously be up watching the New Years celebrations, but I doubt I'll last 3 hours, especially with the drinks I will no doubt be consuming. I might pop in and sit in the audience before bed though.

I cant promise I'll be around for the whole time of that this year either, as that's in the middle of the night for me here in Raptorland too. (and that's by the way NOT new year's eve, as December has 31 days this year again. )
But I'll sure try to be there. Knowing how insane I am, I may be there and even be wide awake.

Yeah Ramsis, AKA the great Ramszilla, Monarch of the Cities, will be there.. this will be fun..

Well, I guess it's still late regardless! I could be an extra emergency panelist, but I'm not exactly a celebrity.

Well, we've technically got a full panel, but we need more volunteers, and we need some contestants as well! Above all, if you want to be a contestant, please really make sure you can devote the time...otherwise, your prize that you helped work at will go to an alternate contestant that takes your place. Panelists who bail just get the stinkeye from me for a whole year.

Leave it to Dino to pick the one day I have to work all day... I'll never get to watch one of these or participate I'll bet.

Oh wait, I totally miscounted on the time... I might, just might be able to make it. ^^ I work til 6:30ish my time... so it starts at 7ish my time... I have to be in 30 minutes before though... oh, I wonder if I'll be able to get off of work a little early... Oh I really want to do it but at the same time I'm not sure if I can make it... I want to be a contestant or panelist...

Okay, so can I be a contestant I guess... but I'm not 100% sure I'll be on time. If not I guess someone can take my place. I'd like to think there will be an alternate at some point. I really want to play, but I don't want to detract... What do you think Dino? If you find someone that can be a better contestant than me then I guess...

Well, I've got you in as a contestant, but we could sure use more alternates for everything.
