Match Game 2010 will be held on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at 10am Faibanx time (GMT -9)!

What is Match Game? Oh, just look at the other posts in this forum section, I'm tired. I told Blue to do all this, but did he? NoooOOOoooo. HE had to SLEEP! :)

Anyway, same deal as last year. Please post and confirm your intentions to be a panelist or a contestant for this year's Match Game in this thread, and I'll update this head post. Like last year, this threat...er, threaD will mutate into having links to the log, etc.

This year, a special treat. Is it like a 5th year anniversary of Match Game yet? Dunno, don't care! All I know is that every year I have some sort of 'real' prize up for grabs. Usually I just offer money, $50 or whatever, but this year I'll be making a special entrance to the LD5 studio as a result of this year's special prize! I guess I'll need to have a second prize as well for the super-match round, dunno what that will be yet, but all I know is I need to get that prize all ready for the debut. :) It's one of a kind! I AIN'T MAKING NO MORE

Once again, let me remind you -- being a panelist or contestant is a serious time commitment of several hours, even for alternates. Don't volunteer unless you know you'll be able to stay connected for several hours.

If you would like to hear the musical cues (the game show music) as it's being played, download the files from the Match Game '73 section of:

As the game progresses, you will see spoofs about what music is being played when, so you can get the full Match Game experience playing or watching along!

Finally, if you STILL don't get what Match Game is, just watch some episodes on the youtubes, preferably the ones with Gene Rayburn.

Nngh, I forget if it was last year or the year before, but one year I signed up and then shiznit happened and I totally missed it. I shall attempt to break my cycle of non-appearance by throwing myself into this. Plz to make with the making of me to being a panelist.

I'll certainly be there if I possibly can - I've only ever managed to see the very end of one match game, somehow, and it was confusing for a few seconds, then everyone left.

So, so far we had "I'll try's" from Tyrnn and Diablo...are either of you gonna say what you're gonna try and be? Alternate panelist? Final contestant?
