Hi everyone - RipRoarRex here with the sixth and final piece of my new batch of artwork.

Here's bringing you right up-to-date with my latest piece of work. Bizarrely, this piece is actually a little poignant for me - it's the last picture I did on my old PC, right before it went the way of the dodo earlier in the month.

Haven't drawn Marco in ages - I don't very often, but sometimes the horse-y mood takes over and I feel the need for hooves. (As you do.)

I think this angle is what is known in artistic terms as a 'tricky son of a bitch'. I tried not to obsess so much over the linework for this one, so the anatomy's a bit loose, but at least it didn't drive me crazy. (Well, not until the colouring stage...!) I also gave Marco slightly more hair than I usually do, largely because I wanted to make it look a little more dramatic.

Anyway, not much else to say about this one, so for anyone who is interested in this kinda thing, here you have it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Having got you exactly where he wants you, Marco sounds his 'kill' whinny and rears up, ready to release the power of his heavy hooves onto their target...

Very interesting angle! I think you pulled it off well.

You are correct, sir! Although there has been a lot of talk about Marco's belly here and there. Maybe you were right about the "inflation and fat" thing, Tombfyre...

Heh!

I'm pleased anyways. ^..^ And there's nothing wrong with pudgy giants! I'm a prime example of one. ;)

I read the previous comment as "Macro", not "Marco". ^^ That just changes the context of everything.

Ah! Touché!! :D

A common joke - one that I never originally intended, but one I rather enjoy each time someone mentions it these days...!
