Legacy LD5

I've been working on my model on-and-off for a while now.

I was fooling around with hair last week and I figure what I have is finally half-presentable. Obviously, I haven't started texturing yet, and I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I'll go about it... and I'm open to suggestions, criticisms, and comments.

Without further ado, my jacked-up stray of an avatar, Patch W.:

Don't take this the wrong way, but here's a question...what's going on at the end of your muzzle there? I...can't really tell.

I know that saurians don't have ears, but they have nostrils, don't they? From what I can tell that's all that's happening there. You can only see one 'cuz of the lighting/camera-angle.

I'm resolving to make my next image stompy so as to receive more replies, I think.

That's what I was assuming it was, but from the lighting, I couldn't tell if it was convex or concave. Hey, I've seen people do weird stuff, so you never know.
