Well, finally coming back to the debris of my game making attempts after the big hard drive crash a while ago to see what I can recover, I had to find that not only were most of the car crashing animation steps I so neatly arranged had worked on are gone (though not all were finished yet), but also I have not a single version of the source code for the uploaded last version below left.
That was a lot of work that I really dont want to do again, I'd really hate to loose it all just because a rather fresh piece of named hardware decided to totally turn into trash from one second to the next without warning.
And I really want to make a proper sidescroller game like this with those cars.
So, unless someone finds a tool that allows to reverse engineer the executable of a Game Maker file, maybe someone can try to video-capture the various crushing animations of the cars without the foot or other car being in the way? (there are six animations in total, one for the sideways car, and five for the upwards facing car, depending on how you step on it plus a little element of chance: stepping on the rear with the upper foot always crushes the rear only, stepping on the front with the lower foot always crushes the front only, doing so with the other foot has a chance to flatten the car centered, and stepping on a the still standing part of one that has been only half squished levels it completely.)
That will likely require a lot of work to move the poor ill-animated Talbain this way and that to not have the foot in the way, but at least get to look at feet...
So if someone has a video capture tool for this and the time and wants to help me so I can reuse those car crushings later, I'd very muchly appreciate.
