I just downloaded Spoor demo.

But was wondering : can you make large massive monster feet or not (does anyone already tried ?).

Yes, just use the mouse wheel to scale up any part.

I made a Gojira clone and he has huge feet, I need to take a screen and show you folks it.

I should go do that now before I forget.

Heh, Spoor, Blue's favorite game. :) And if it can make some sexy Gojira feet, I might be all turned around on the game.

Also, now this thread has four pages, so Patch can't bitch anymore. Oh wait...he can! :)

Well. I see now, as I actually did the research until it panned out into a fair amount of linkage and discussion. I'm pretty much floored by the fact the official retail version (of the CC which is essentially a demo for the rest of Spore) will be here in two days with four times the power for just TEN BUCKS.

*nerdgasm*

So, Spore itself isn't actually out yet? Like I said, I reserve my excitement for then.

Well, if you search for the way a German would spell "Spoor", you'd see one of the hits on dict.cc is "toe," and! if you search for "spuren", "spur"'s verb-counterpart, the third verb-phrase down is "toe the line," which is what I'll arbitrarily assume you're referencing, Dino, and in assuming that, I also suspect the Conspiracy© is back.

To quote an unnamed fascist in defense of my bitching/bitchiness:
"Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."

If we take the first three lines out of context it obviously and in all cases means that I am a man of action because I bitch so much, whereas you conversely are a man of inaction by simple fact that you give me grief. Take that.

Ultimately if you can imagine it, you can make it, however once it hits a certain level of complexity you can't go any further then that with adding more parts.

The complexity is kinda low, but I think it's due to the fact that once Spore does come out, to have a planet filled with these guys would strain even the biggest, baddest gaming rig there is if they were more complex or detailed to the point of other games.

Still to have a planet filled with Godzillas and others sounds like fun even with low level complexities. One has to work around the limits the editor has, but you can make 'interesting' things with it if you know how to mess around with it.

New picture of the wolf creature I'm still working on, someday I'll be happy with how it looks and will call it the final version.

Yea, like I said I just need some more time with the creator to see what I could do to make it look better then it did when I first started out using it.

That said here's the latest work on the wolf creature in question.

Image

I think I've got it looking the way I wanted at last, could be better, but I think I've reached the limits of what the creator can do here, any further and it might not work in the game due to being too complex.

Apparently Spore (the full game) has been on US store shelves since Sunday. I must have mistaken my off-campus townhouse for a large rock, as spending the last week under there is the only explanation I have for being completely oblivious to the release date.

:B <--- Me
I don't deserve to start a Spore-centric thread. Just bumping here as this is where we've had the most Spore discussion thus far.

I picked up the game a few days ago and I'm enjoying it so far. I've made a race of "cro-magnon weesaurs" as my main species, and just entered the Tribal stage.

Well, by some reviews I just watch, the game seems not that good as people expected it to be, that the main interesting thing in the game is the Creature editor and the rest is not worth it. :?
