Original lighting, no photoshopping.

This is what the window corner of my living room looks like. The light is generated by two blue LED spots. The upper one illuminates the life sized deinonychus statue and throws his silhouette onto the equally blue curtain, making it very visible to everyone passing by my window. The lower LED illuminates part of my Xenomorph collection.

Pretty much my whole appartment looks sort of like this. It took a long time to design all of it, but I am very satisfied with the result.

That's a little blurry, but it's still awesome. Those must be some pretty powerful LED lights. I don't have a clue what Xenomorph(s) are but since I'm too lazy to do the research I'll just assume they're awesome too but totally deserve to be huddled around the big raptor feet.

I approve of your feng sprotch! May it bring you joy and luck and all that other fortune-cookie stuff!

lol @ feng sprotch!
And yes, LEDs have become very powerful by now. I already replaced every last light source in my apprtment with them. They need almost zero energy to run and last a good 100.000 hours before burning out.

Also a Xenomporh is an alien from the movie series of the same name.

Unfortunately, the most prevalent LED lights around here are for Christmas decorations, but I actually have a couple of strings of all blue ones myself that I suppose I could easily repurpose. As for traditional incandescent-style bulb replacements, those are presumably being stifled by people trying to pawn off stupid compact fluorescent bulbs before making the real change to LED. Someone needs to :lionstomp: the company who still wants to peddle CF bulbs and get the LED ones made.

So there's your eco-rant from your ranty, randy speck.

And creeping out neighbors with raptor shadows is cool.

The raptor is saying, 'WHAT LIES BEYOND THIS BLUE CURTAIN?'

And the aliens are saying 'Whooo, sexy raptor feet' and doing some kind of worship dance.

I like what's going on in here. :D
