I just created an alternative account on FurAffinity.net called "greygoyle" and I'm using that account to showcase professional quality work and take commissions. At the same time, I'm accepting donations towards a new comic I made which I'm sure will appeal to most people here.

It's called Teddy's "Short" Story. The basic premise is pretty obvious, so I'll spare you the details. And if you can, please feel free to donate towards the comic. You can read more information about the donation drive for this comic here => http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3454300

And now, for a taste of things to come... 8-)

Nice stomp shot, and nice job over all, too! :)

While other artists charge high prices for full-color comic pages, with one person supporting the entire cost and supervising the art/story direction, you make your own story at a lower cost-per-page, with the cost hopefully divided among a fair share of the folks interested in the nature of the content. I LIKE WHERE THIS IS GOING! I hope PayPal doesn't chew up your microtransactions with their processing fees. Friggin' fees...

You mentioned this separate account is exclusively for showcasing and managing commissions. Why did you choose to create a new account rather than add a commission page with info to your existing account? Now for some wild speculation. I know where your passion is, but I don't know where the money is. If you hope to someday fill commissions outside of a furry/fetish context, why not use the Greygoyle name to create your own website with a "general interest" type portfolio?

Let me try to respond to your comment one subject at a time:

1. Paypal only charges for international transactions, like from Canada to the US or the US to the UK. That kind of thing. So if you live in the US like I do, there should be no issue of charges.

2. I'm using the account mainly for professional quality work, so yes it will have general interest art uploaded into it, with the fetish themes kept down to a more subtle level. And just recently, I received a commission for a human transgender sequence, so do expect some non-furry content as well.

3. I'd put my Paypal address here for you to know, but I'd rather share it discreetly. I'll send you and Dinosorceror a private message with my Paypal address.

Ah! I did not realize PayPal no longer charged the usual credit card fee ($0.30 + 2.9%) for transactions between two PayPal accounts. This is a recent development! Jolly good.

I understand your desire for discretion, but notice you share the same address freely on the FA journal you linked to in your previous post. Perhaps you can set up one of those "Click To Donate" icons so you don't have to risk displaying your address in plain text?

How do you do that?

This article from PayPal's "How To" section should explain everything you need to know to set one up, and then some. HTML editing experience isn't necessary, but it will speed the process greatly.
