A couple of months ago I had a strange and slightly unwholesome urge to return to the digimon roots that brought me to LD5 many hundreds of years ago, and I drew a wargreymon in Corel Draw. I didn't really do anything with it until a couple of weeks ago, when Blue's game making adventures inspired me to totally copy his idea. I hope you don't mind Blue - it's very different from your game :-)

You just walk a massive wargreymon left and right and crush crowds of people, with various customisable options like how many, how big they are, how big wargreymon is, and various others. I've also left all the sounds and sprites external, so anyone can use them if they like, for whatever purposes - you can find them all in the game's data folder.

Well I'm generally not a fan of stomping, but this amused the hell out of me. ^^ Plus making the fellow nice and big was great fun. :D

Great game! And thank you for having left the sounds and sprites.
How did you make the sounds?
When I make a game, I don't know how to make the squashy sounds.

Ah, I recall when you showed me that in the making. I told you it needed cars to be flattened too. :)

And you know I wouldnt mind at all even if you copy any of my game stuff. The more the better. :D
Besides all I had for this "game" was the desire to draw a set of buildings and then throw them into something where they can be looked at. If anybody comes up with a good idea for a plot or wants to use my sprites for an own game, have fun. (the really cute chief house set isnt in the game yet though). Telling me would be appreciated though.

Nice graphics!

Now if only we could do more to these humans than just trampling them...

There's more to a game than just violence...

Thanks for your comments, folks!

And Ragnos, you have strange definitions of violence! Squirty blood and crunchy noises...?

Might be flogging a dead horse, but I've been kindly given another sprite set for this game, so I thought I'd post all three of the existing mods here:

1) Serv, by Alternate Artisan: Click to download (900 KB)
Image

2) Quad Red Dragon, from an anonymous source: Click to download (1.2 MB)
Image

2) Anthro Dras, by me: Click to download (1.2 MB)

To install these, just make a copy of the game's 'data\sprites' folder (so you don't lose the originals), then extract the frames from the archive into the original 'sprites' folder, replacing existing files when prompted. When you launch the game you'll be able to switch between sprite sets with 'F4'.

If you want to download the original game, you can do so here (3.1 MB)

Thanks for the continued interest, sprite people!

Brilliant, simply brilliant. I still load this or a similar game up when I'm in the mood, and I never imagined an expansion was in the works. Kudos to all involved!
