Being trapped in the ownership of a huge, malicious dragon with feet the size of cathederal doors and an enormous trample fetish, Ahastar is used to being squashed apart under Bolt's gargantuan paws. 99% of the time it's very, very deliberate, but every now and then the raptor simply ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

On this occasion, Bolt's unfortunate little trample-toy happened to have been sleeping out in the open, having recently resurrected after a particularly intense and fatal session the night before. With his tiny, soft little saurian body lying prone on the hard cave floor, he stood no chance of survival as the dragon's right forepaw came crushing down upon him. A momentary startled gasp is all Ahastar could manage before the enormous padded palm crunched his bones down and squirted his innards out beneath its raised back side.

All the more humblingly for Ahastar, the dragon didn't even notice. The great paw lifted, peeling up off his pulped body, and an immense hind foot followed mercilessly in its wake to finish off what little remained.

For Bolt, discovering the raptor squashed-apart in one of his broad, deep footprints a couple of hours later was only a minor nuisance. He yawned, stretched out alongside the remains of his trample toy and waited for Ahastar to resurrect again...

Many thanks to our favourite half-demon raptor for this! It was a lot of fun!

Honestly I've pondered even in the past if Peter Jackson has a secret trample fetish. I think it happens in almost every one of movies where there is anything large enough to do it.

He has a trample fetish for all the wrong things, based on the evidence so far!
