I love it when the little green rex foot icon is appropriate for the topic...

This is for anyone who hasn't already seen this at Fur Affinity: a tramply game in which you must dodge enormous rex paws and keep Ahastar safe. We wouldn't want him to be stepped on now, would we?

Rexzilla v1.3 (45 MB)

As you can see from the screenshots, this is violent and bloody, in a comicky sort of way, and also features the occasional puddle of dinosaur-generated fluid - if you don't like that kind of thing, don't download this!

As far as gameplay is concerned:

- Click where you want Ahastar to go
- Click the icons in the lower HUD to move, sneak, worship or heal
- Stay out of sight using the giant yellow eye as a visibility indicator
- Press 'esc' to open the menu, where all other settings and things are located

If Ahastar gets stomped, trodden, ground, doormatted, catwalked, jumped, squicked or gangtrampled to death, you lose! If you manage to satisfy the rex sufficiently BEFORE Ahastar dies, you win.

Change Log (v1.0.3)

- Increased max number of 'gentle' attacks
- Prevented rex end-of-turn turning where not necessary
- Added doormat attack
- Added always-kill 'cruel rex' option
- Added flashing indicator for rex full satisfaction
- Holding 'shift' when game closes now resets scores

Change Log (v1.0.2)

- Added single rex trample-to-death fatality
- Removed injury overlay and HUD when Ahastar is dead
- Fixed bug where gang fatalities could leave main rex facing the wrong way
- Fixed block destruction from raised rex feet
- Added Hot Rub fatality
- Offering and refusing worship now sometimes results in a fatality
- Improved camera positioning
- Prevented camera from scrolling at start of Ahastar's turn if mouse not moved
- Prevented F6 from defaulting rex customisations
- Removed red 'I see you' target
- Reduced visibility eye size
- Added game start and game over messages
- Added back-and-forth rub attack
- Incorporated rubbing into gangwipe fatality
- Fixed animation in rex climax
- Added seed wipe after some satisfaction victories
- Added sound effects for rubbing/wiping
- Added activity charts
- Added option to disable rex speech
- Changed game over screens

Change Log (v1.0.1)

- Added in-game & help notification of 'esc' menu
- Added scores
- Removed rex gender references
- Fixed problem with vertical camera scrolling
- Added gangwipe fatality
- Added Stomp-to-death fatality
- Added rex attack preferences
- Added fatality preferences
- Added new dialogue
- Increased legibility of small font
- Added missing sound effects
- Caused help screen to appear on first game load

GOOD LUCK, PEOPLE

Awesome game there Diablo!
And tricky too (though you had a soft squishy heart and added trickster options). The Animations and reaction is awesome, like I already said I love the flair, and the visuals and sound are very intriguing too!
And I am sure there is so much more to find out yet. :)

Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, I get the error "Invalid floating point operation" followed by "Unexpected error occurred while running the game". Tried disabling my antivirus/antispyware, Safe Mode, running system file checker, etc. but no luck getting it to work :(

Edit: Fixed by setting antialiasing and anisotropic filtering to "Application controlled" in AMD Catalyst Control Center. This is incredible :D

Here I am, FEARLESSLY running through buildings that offer WAY too little protection from rexes, and extremely unfair sticky tape *grumble*. And yet, I shall prevail! Maybe not ... well... win, but... SURVIVE... right?

I may not be into the crush-and-trample side of things, but any game where you can lick rex feet until the rex blows his load gets a thumbs up from me.

This is amazing. Would you be able to make a POV of what Ahastar sees?

Oh dear. I got so caught up in researching the regional differences between Skittles, Smarties and M&Ms way back in September that I completely forgot to actually make my post. It seems chocolate can prolong one's life... within reason.

More importantly, the graphics here are better than Blizzard's "Diablo" trilogy!

Does the update have even MORE rex toes?

Only more ways for them to squish you, I'm afraid!

I have this feeling that all we're doing is making Dino cream himself to death.
