Legacy LD5

This is really my first try at drawing some feet of an anthro character, some of the details are a bit ...well, weird. All I can say is I did my best, and that's really all that matters. First drawn with good ol' pencil and paper, then transfered and outlined using photoshop. Just a general outline is all I did... didn't feel like coloring because for me, it takes a bout a week or two depending on my scheduel.

Again, it was my first try... so be gentle on the criticism... please? Though any suggestions or comments wll be appreciated too.

I think so, too! I also think it's really funny that Geemo was the first to reply, as that style made me think of his earlier stuff.

Hey! Not bad at all for a first try! You have even defined the muscles. However, the footpaw... well... seems a bit "twisted". The ball is okay, but the toes and the "fore-sole" aren't good. The direction of the leg points in the bottom-left and the sole seems to point in straight bottom. To make it points in the same direction as the leg, the rightest toe should be the lowest of them, and not the leftest one. Same goes with the curves of the "fore-sole" section : the right one should be lower than the left one. Just that and it would have been perfect! Keep up the good work!

If you did this without a reference you'll be there in notime. You're probably someone who would dominate with use of a tablet, if you can get access to one.

The orientation of the ball is really the only thing that looks off in the image, other than that you're style is there already. Soon you could be stirrin' up the drama with the best of them on FA, or DA or whatever. XP Hopefully not though; hopefully we can keep you mostly here.

Yeah, I realized that the ball and some other details on the foot are a bit screwed up, one of those details that I mentioned as "weird". Other than that, thanks for the comments and suggestions! Hopefuly I'll be doing some more practice soon, depending on how busy I've been lately...
