This could be seen as a followup to the 'playing with the prisoner' picture I posted here a while ago, but only if you feel that the size of a tyrannosaurus is not constant.

Ahastar quickly learns not to question a rex's agility as he is dangled above the splayed-apart soles of his interrogator, allowed a moment to take in the view, then dropped between them. WHUMP!

Yes, it HAS to be precisely in that order or the entire idea will probably not work so well.
And for everyone wondering why my scales are always this white, there you have your explanation.

Next, for a fun little game! Guess the psi in frame no. 2.

Damn! Well, I guess that's it for Diablo. You're just getting too incredibly talented to be hanging out in this krufthole. It was nice knowing you, Diablo! :)

Nice depth of field blur and noise. How are you doing it radially?

Thank you very much everyone!

Dino, THIS KRUFT HOLE IS MY HOME. LOOK THERE'S EVEN A REX CAVE. But thank you and don't worry - it's not really a rule that people have to abandon LD5 at some stage! That's just a rumour that Blue started to scare children.

Aeon, it turns out that Photoshop's 'lens blur' can do depth of field effects if you play around with alpha gradient masks.

Little arms...big...feet...

This might just be because I'm a film nerd (though I imagine it was meant for this effect) but the very slight grain makes especially the last panel look very kinda sorta 'realistic'.

Moosh factor: high.

Pirate rexes... wow!

They would only steal from the rich and give to the poor, and sometimes board raptor ships to trample them.

Yes, and it indeed catches the moment and produces the mental image of a rex dangling the poor Ahastar by his tail from his jaws, inevitably cute and a little comical, incredible well and with scaring clearness.
