I like the face look they put up, and I see they reworked the fog on the city background too, looks neat now.
And I like Quinn.
Aside from that and the bigness that somehow still seems to be in there I still CoX's graphic style better, especially on the characters. Three smooth bulges on the wrists does not a fur make, and over-gloom lighting on single-color or gradient surfaces does not make up for not having textures. Just like with the early space simulators and Mech Warrior games, making everything 3D doesnt always make it look better than using a 2D picture instead. It's especially irritating to me since SOME surfaces in the game DO have detailed textures. It just doesnt look like its meant to fit together. Like mixing Playmobil stuff and figures or barbie dolls with a photo-realistic miniature diorama.
And yes, the feet are ridiculously low polygon and edgy, the lizard-style ones' toes are a perfect hexagon tube where they connect with the claws, e.g.
Maybe - *gasp!* - they are not pawsluts?
