Picture 2 of RipRoarRex's May 2010 batch

Just a random idea that jumped into my head back in March when I found myself in the mood for something slightly more humanoid in form. I came to rather like the thought of a powerful, sinister red demon-like character dealing out punishment of the usual, curiously enjoyable form. Instead of attempting to draw a face, I found greater appeal in the mysterious anonymity of a hooded figure, his glowing eyes the only visible feature. This originated as a quick sketch and I wanted to keep it fairly simple even in its final form, so there isn't a great deal of detail here (aside from the foot, of course!) Hopefully it was a worthwhile exercise though, even if the subject matter is somewhat removed from conventional 'furry'.

Beware the price of sinful living,
His tools of justice not forgiving,
Unleashing one man's Armageddon;
Should this be Hell - or is it Heaven?

Very nice job with the foot, but I do wonder a bit about the "three balls" it seems to have. In most underfoot details, you have (looking at the pic in the orientation you did it) the smaller part of the ball of the foot on the left, which looks OK in your pic, and then just a single oval ball for the right...but in your pic, it's got a dividing crease in the middle of it, just doesn't look quite right. Like he's got a huge lump or callus in the middle of his ball that's sticking out. Other than that, can't find any faults. :)

Hmm - I take your point, it looks a bit bulgy. Can't find the original reference photo I used for this but I did try to get it pretty close to what I saw so it might just have been the way the light bounced off one of the wrinkles. In any case, that is all it was meant to be; a sort of wrinkle/ripple in the flesh.

Thanks for the feedback anyway. ;)
