Legacy LD5

Well, fresh from the depths of the last closet to go through at home...although there is still a huge garage of crap to go through this year as well...here's the only macro pic I ever made. Well...not quite true. I did some similar doodles involving select cartoon characters when I was still a young teen, but those are gone forever.

Anyway, I did this one while living in the ghetto of Faibanx, so it's circa 1997. I had made a POV view in Poser and actually held the paper up to the CRT and traced it to get the proportions right. Still came out sucky. And no, it's not spooge-worthy to me. Kinda looks like a Helvetica Bold from a parallel universe, too. Helvetica who?

That's a great picture, Dino. And don't feel bad about the Poser tracing - references are the only way the rest of us can draw this kind of stuff!
