Legacy LD5

Hi guys. I am just waiting to find out how to use a program in which allows me to put pics into my gallery so I'm posting them here for the moment. These are what I have done using a piece of software called XNALara. It takes models from Tomb Raider games so you can use to model with. Please tell me what you think either by private message or by post on this site thanks again.

I have seen that rex in various videos before.
I still find it is a very alluring model!

Its funny really because when ever i play this game I always replay the level!
(Only so i can let Lara be crushed under the foot! The strange thing is though when she does she doesn't die it doesn't even take any health off! Oh well more tramply fun

Stomping in games is always especially intense, I tend to find, since you can control the character. You're a step closer to the action.

Boy oh Boy do I love watching Lara get stomped on! And whats better than having your own program to do that with when you can't be bothered playing the game itself!

Here are my newest Creations. The ones I did on Microsoft paint I have to say thank you to Diablo for letting me use his original work. (Sorry Diablo, the Raptor was actually based on yours too but I got that from google and didn't notice till I saw it in your gallery) So without further ado here they are!

I'd recommend you stick to 3D though - that rex and Lara posing is great!

LOL! Thanks for the recomendation diablo! I only do Microsoft paint when I either can't get my modeling kit program up or it fails but this is a first attempt at editing via paint so overall i personally dont think it came out too badly! Could be better though!

I still very much like the Lara trampling Trex!
The pictures you used of Diablo... hmmm...

I know that it is hard to create your own drawings. And it will probably also look very rough when you start out as an artist, but in all honesty, I think you are hindering your own advancing if you use crop-outs like those. First, we have all seen those pictures before in their natural shape, so it is nothing new. Second, puzzling together images like that leads to a lot of repair damage like missing pixels or off-colours. Third, you don't get to show off your own ideas because you are limited to what other people have drawn before.

Let pictures of other artists inspire you, use them as references if you want - but do your own thing! The results might not be comparable to those of more experienced artists, but it is the only way you get to develope creativity of your own.

Just look at people like RavenClaw or Drethenzai. They both arrived at LD5, picked up then pencil and became pretty damn good very quickly!

that rex is one of my fav too.. i would love to use at my 3d programs..

does your program let you animate it?
