Hello everyone! :ld5:

Gosh it's been like 3 months since I last logged onto to this delicious site!

Well here I am again, this time bigger and better :) So recently I just received my new tablet pen from Wacom (After it stopped working after a months use) and had that urge to do some serious drawing.

A while ago I showed you all my new character Valedrik, well I just had some time to do my first image with him. This was my first attempt and inking/line-art so please excuse some messy areas, and as well I had no reference to do this picture, so yea it might look a bit off :P

Here an unlucky Ahastar is captured by a hidden in the dark Val, who uses his vampiric powers to shrink the half-demon, and is nicely placed against his cold smooth soles, whilst being compressed against an alley-way wall.

Well I hope you guys enjoy this rough but quite nice image, and more will come soon :D :slipper:

Wow!

I love the feeling of privacy and seclusion that you've managed to bring across with that lighting. A tremendously sexy concept and excellently drawn!

Oh hell yes, I very much agree with the dinosaur above me! The chain is a very mean, little addition, too.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry about outlines so much. Your style is *very* compatible to work without them, and might even benefit from that, since you have such a classic, oil-painting way to create pictures from what I saw in the past. I know a lot of artists that are actually struggling to become less dependant on outlines - so don't assume they are a must that you *have* to get into!

I don't! I'm always sorry for the poor fellow rappy, and want og hug and cuddle him and make him feel all nice...
He is just all "Ah! Getoffmegetoffmegetoffme!" whenever I try. :)

Very cool drawing and lighting effect.
(The wall imply that the alley is wider at the front than in the back, don't know if that was intended. the lines horizontal lines have to meet in one point in the center if that effect is to be avoided.)

Agree completely with above -- the seclusion and mood of the whole thing is just pawsome. :)
