Sooo, new story! I probably spent... two hours on this? I didn't even bother to go back and edit it, but hey, fap material! :D A giant, scaly raptor methodically destroys a city, slaughters its inhabitants, and murders its rulers. What's not to love? :stomp: I can't believe I forgot to post this story here, of all places. Enjoy!

(And yes, bad pun at the beginning is bad. :P )

People have plans for everything. They plan everything from social outings, to construction products, to weddings, to career paths. There are plans for escaping fires and tornadoes, and even for armed robberies. But for all these plans, something always goes wrong. Someone trips down the stairs, or an alarm fails to alert the authorities in time. And sometimes, there is another plan set in place specifically to counteract the first plan, as is the case in robberies. These are the most dangerous plans, and also the most precarious. One mistake can result in chaos: the very thing that plans seek to avoid. Or at least, most plans do.
But on that horrific day, chaos was the plan.
And it was a roaring success.

A few miles from the city, behind a few nearby mountains, a huge figure crouched. It was covered in black and grey scales from head to tailtip, and filled with malicious intent. It was an enormous, anthropomorphic raptor by the name of Silthin. He had grown sick of the way anthros were treated by humans, to the point that he was willing to do anything to see them all dead, including selling his very soul. A dark and forbidden ritual had transformed his body to its now massive proportions. He knew it wouldn’t be invincible, but that’s why he had a plan.

First, of course, would be the cell phone towers. Silthin had already destroyed the towers that were far enough away not to be noticed, but close enough to be used. Now there was only one tower left, through which all current communications were being routed. The dark-scaled raptor hefted a large boulder in one clawed hand. It wouldn’t be a problem for long. It was just before dawn, so even at his immense size, it was easy for him to approach the city and its last remaining means of communication undetected. When he was close enough, he threw his boulder directly at the base of the tower. A boulder that size moving at that speed made short work of the relatively thin metal. Silthin could just have easily used his claws to destroy the tower, but the strong cables that held the tower in place would have been rather painful upon breaking.

With his first task completed, the giant raptor headed for the nearest bridge. Having eliminated communication, he now needed to limit the number of humans that would escape his wrath. There were only two major highways out of the city, and one of them was right in front of Silthin. He raised a powerful, scaly leg and stomped down forcefully, the concrete shattering like ice beneath him. A few cars were instantly crushed underfoot, and still a few more fell down through the recently-created gap. The rest of the cars that were unfortunate enough to find themselves on the highway soon met a similar fate when Silthin used his long, muscular tail to sweep the supports out from under the road. He would have liked to hear the horrified screams as the humans plummeted to their deaths, but that would come soon enough.

The giant raptor now had no reason to mask his presence. It was time for the humans to know that their doom approached. He took in a deep breath, then roared in the direction of the tallest buildings with all the hatred he could muster. Silthin was very pleased at how similar it sounded to something from a Godzilla movie. The unearthly sound was sure to have carried for miles, but only those within the city would be unfortunate enough to find out its source.

Silthin began walking towards the city with slow, deliberate, earth-shaking steps. He purposefully walked on the highway as he approached, mercilessly crushing any cars that became trapped beneath his scaly feet. A few cars managed to turn back towards the city, but most crashed into the oncoming traffic and were flattened anyways. Upon reaching the edge of the city , Silthin leapt several dozen meters into the air and slammed both massive, clawed feet down on a fast food restaurant, flattening the building instantly in a cloud of dust and splinters, and killing all those inside.

“Fast food is very hazardous to your health,” Silthin said with a cruel grin. His sharp eyesight spotted a human scrambling towards its car frantically. He lifted one scaly foot and dropped it down on the human’s tiny body, putting enough weight on it to pin him down, but not quite enough to crush him. “Pathetic,” the raptor muttered softly. He slowly leaned his weight down onto the trapped human. It struggled futilely beneath the unforgiving scales of the massive sole, but soon its bones began to break one after another until all that remained was a smear of bloody paste. Silthin grinned sadistically and ground the human’s remains into the shattered pavement below. When he lifted his foot, a few strings of viscous blood appeared briefly between his sole and his footprint, but quickly broke off as the behemoth of a reptile began walking once more.

Silthin headed closer to the center of the city, crushing any buildings or vehicles in his way underfoot. The huge dinosaur was pleased to find that he must have been at least a hundred feet tall, given the size of the buildings compared to him. He was less pleased, however, with the scarcity of pedestrians to trample on the streets. “No one wants to come out and play?” he asked. “Fine then. We’ll do it your way!” Silthin turned to one of the mid-sized glass skyscrapers. He used his reflection to be sure he was giving the perfect evil grin, then roared as loudly as he could. Glass shattered and fell from the face of the building like rain under the incredibly intense volume of the giant raptor’s roar. The removal of the building’s outer carapace revealed dozens of screaming, disoriented humans, most with blood trailing from their ears. The last thing they saw was Silthin’s open jaws darting towards them.

Silthin grinned as the pleasant taste of blood filled his mouth as he chewed his helpless victims. His razor-sharp, serrated teeth made short work of their tiny bodies. The metal and bits of glass were less pleasant, but not unbearable. He let some of the debris and body parts fall from his mouth, then reared his head back and struck at the building again. The raptor’s powerful jaws ripped through the outer framework with ease. Before he pulled away this time, he used his long, prehensile tongue to draw a few more humans into his mouth. He imagined what it must have been like for those poor, pathetic humans. They would be trapped in his mouth, covered in saliva, and plunged into complete darkness. Then light would illuminate the world around them again just long enough for them to see a row of curved, serrated teeth coming down to rip them to shreds.

Silthin hadn’t even noticed that dawn had broken, so caught up was he in his destruction. It mattered little though. It wasn’t as if any humans could outrun him. Speaking of which, there significantly more “bugs” on the streets now. There were many cars, but in their panic to escape, most had crashed or were trapped in the traffic, so their drivers had abandoned them. Now the streets were filled with panicking humans pushing and shoving each other out of the way in their effort to escape. How cute.

Most of the humans didn’t seem to be headed in a particular direction; just away from the giant dinosaur threatening their lives. Few of them would get far. Silthin was glad he had chosen such a densely populated city. Anywhere that he stepped now resulted in a pleasant crunching of metal and bone, along with the warm, mammalian blood splattering against his scaly soles. “We could have been friends, our races,” the raptor boomed down at his victims. “But you’ve proven that your species is to closed-minded and prejudiced to be reasoned with.” He stomped down on a group of humans as hard as he could, splattering any nearby survivors in blood and gore. “And now you’re at the mercy of one that you once used.” He stomped again. “One that you once tormented.” Another stomp. “And now you beg for mercy that you do not deserve.” Silthin turned and slammed his tail against the base of a building, peppering the teeming masses below with glass and concrete. “I hear your cries. And I deem you worthy… only of death.” He grabbed the edge of the damaged building and pulled with all his immense strength. It was only moments before the entire building came crashing down on the crowds below, flattening them instantly.

The giant raptor stood still for a moment to let the dust settle, and for the shock to set in. Satisfied that he had made his point, he leapt over the ruins of the building, landing among the crowd once more. His cruel grin was gone, as were his taunting words. Now he was in true predator mode. The only thing on his mind was the massacre in progress. He gave a threatening and deafening ROAR, sending the humans scattering once again.

By this time, Silthin’s were covered in blood almost up to his ankles. His scaly, digitigrade feet had punished any humans caught under them so severely that blood would splatter in all directions, much of it coating the raptor’s scales and dyeing them a dark crimson. When he stepped forward again, his long, clawed toes curled slightly, as if merely hanging from the foot as it swung through the air, then straightened and spread once more upon meeting with soft, fleshy bodies. The large, scaly sole first knocked the humans over and pinned them flat against the ground. Then the raptor’s immense weight came down on them, pressing and pressing with rapidly increasing pressure until bones began to break and the humans’ skin could no longer contain the pressure. Their tiny bodies burst like balloons, warm blood serving to soothe the raptor’s dry, scaly soles.

A few times, Silthin used his sickle claws to impale a human that had just barely escaped being trampled. This fate was often worse, as the cruel, curved claw usually failed to pierce a vital organ, and sometimes even left the human skewered like a shish-kabob for a few steps. A few humans attempted to avoid the cruel, trampling feet of the giant theropod by running past them and heading in the opposite direction. This proved to be a mistake, as his long, muscular tail was just as cruel as his feet. As Silthin walked, he constantly kept his tail swing back and forth, dragging its tip along the ground for the specific purpose of eliminating stragglers. The lucky ones had their necks snapped or their skulls crushed by the muscular, scaly appendage. The unlucky ones lost limbs to flipping cars and other debris. The streets behind Silthin were almost pure crimson.

Silthin continued to methodically trample and kill all the humans in his path, but he was slowly working his way towards the center of the city. That was where his true target was: the capitol building. They were the most responsible for all the problems he and his kin had faced, and so they would face the harshest punishment. When the building was almost in sight, he left the crowds behind, not wanting to give the senators and congressmen the chance to see him coming and escape. His powerful legs and sleek, streamlined body, combined with his immense size, allowed him to the reach the capitol within mere seconds.

Upon reaching the building, the first thing he did was make sure that the black limousines were still in the parking lot. Those greedy, self-important politicians would never be seen being transported in anything but the most expensive and luxurious vehicles money could buy, except of course when they were trying to convince the less fortunate that they were “just like you.” Hypocrites, Silthin thought to himself. Luckily, court was in session that morning, so no one had been planning on going anywhere. Well, it wasn’t exactly lucky. Silthin had planned this day for his assault knowing that his most hated targets would be present. He flattened the limos underfoot just for good measure.

In this particular capitol building, it so happened that the dome was positioned directly over the actual courtroom. “Was,” of course, is the operative word. It was easy for the titanic raptor to remove it, much to the dismay of those inside the building. Silthin flashed a broad, toothy grin down at the suited humans below, frozen in shock. “Oh, I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?” he taunted. A few of the humans bolted for the door, but Silthin was ready for them. He slammed his fist down on the roof above the neighboring room, blocking off the only exit.

“No don’t get up,” the raptor teased. “Please, continue! What’s on the schedule today, hmm? Trying to figure out how else to objectify my people?” With each word, Silthin’s tone became less and less pleasant, and a snarl slowly began to form on his scaly lips. “More Jim Crow laws, or are you even trying to be subtle anymore?” The raptor ignored the tiny stinging feeling of bullets hitting his tough, scaly hide. A few of them did manage to pierce his scales, but they were so small that they would cause only minor irritation. “Why don’t you try telling everyone that claws are too intimidating for the workplace, that’s a good one!” he suggested. He slammed his fist down again, this time in the middle of the room. “Or why don’t you just order a damned GENOCIDE you little pieces of shit!” he shouted in rage.

Silthin was done toying around now. He straightened back up again, a low rumble emanating from his throat. “In the country I used to know and love, everyone had these things called rights. Nobody could take away those rights unless you were taking away others’ rights.” The raptor tilted his head to the side slightly. “It’s your turn to pay,” he said quietly. Then the carnage commenced.

The raptor began by sweeping his thick, muscular tail across the top of the building, knocking large chunks of concrete down onto the humans below. In doing so, he also cleared away enough space for him to step over the walls and into the room itself. It was like crushing grapes into wine, Silthin thought to himself. He wasted no time in crushing the congressmen and senators beneath his clawed feet. The many tables and chairs in the room impeded the humans’ attempts to escape from underfoot, but didn’t bother Silthin in the slightest. The feeble wooden furniture snapped beneath his weight like twigs, much like the bones of his victims.

Silthin’s feet had become coated in dust after traversing much of the city and causing so much structural damage. But when he stepped on a fresh human, and its tiny body popped under the immense pressure, its blood splattered up against the dust-covered scales to help wash them clean once more. It was amusing that a few humans actually tried to hide from the giant raptor beneath tables or in corners.

Those who hid beneath tables were usually simply unknowingly crushed into paste. Those that pressed themselves into corners, while they had the right idea, faced a much more gruesome and painful fate. In one such case, Silthin used one long, curved talon to impale the human against the wall through the stomach. When he pulled away, the human stayed stuck on the large, black claw, screaming in agony. Silthin barely paid any mind and merely moved on to the next set of victims. When he stepped down, his claw cleaved the human’s lower half in two, spilling intestines and blood everywhere.

It only took about five minutes for Silthin to ensure that there was not a single living human in the courtroom. Hi feet now glistened with blood and gore, and destruction littered his path. He contemplated destroying the rest of the building, but he didn’t think it was necessary. All his most hated enemies were now dead, unless one or two of them had happened to be sick that day. Besides, it wasn’t even noon yet, and Silthin had a lot of work left to do today. The raptor stepped out of the ruins of the capitol building and started walking South towards the neighboring city, leaving in his wake a trail of catastrophic destruction and bloody footprints.

Maybe he's just nervous because he hasn't tried it yet. Once you get going, it's pretty fun. ;)
