So Blue likes this ending a lot (and after finally watching the film for the first time just this past week it has wiggled into my Top 5 Musicals).

I like this ending a lot too, but I don't think I get quite the same dirty satisfaction as certain raptors.

Anyway, as you might know it was recently fully restored for the Blu-ray release of the film. I don't remember what the rough cut was like anymore, but now it's in full color with finalized sound and all that jazz. And Blue hates it now. Oh well. Maybe someone wants it.

There are more than 5 musicals?
;)

Thanks so much for finding this and upping it, it really makes my world a bit more like it should be.

And I don't not like it. It is just enough for me to know it is there and available, I don't actually have to have or watch it. And no, before Dino claims that, I do not fap to it. I really only wanted it to be there, and now I am happy as can be in that aspect.

And all I said was that the bad quality black/white one had something to it as well, giving it classy 50s look. But the color one IS better!

I just think it's great that the guy who spent weeks building and working on these model shots is finally vindicated. Can you imagine what it must have been like for that guy when they decided to cut out all that effects work? And this was back before anyone thought we'd have alternate versions of movies on video. If it wasn't in the theater it was just gone.

FYI I like Fiddler on the Roof and Sweeny Todd too.
