Heh, yeah, I saw you had stopped by the new world. I still have the old slipper world around, maybe we'll switch over to it from time to time.

Nan' I'm makin' something offline w/ Minecraft, that I could toss yer way ( saved game file namely ) once it's done ;-)

Let's just say the house I posted here could FIT INSIDE the one i'm making, we're talking crazy huge scale now.

1 block = 1 inch ( more or less )

Or as I like to call it, the spider in game is now scaled to a typical RL spider you find in your house, heh heh heh

;-)

I could post progress pics. show what I've don so far, mostly thanks to MCedit for being so user friendly that it takes less time to build things at LARGE scale then flying around doing things 1 block at a time, I just do that for finer details, but overall it's MC edit that helps w/ large items...

You have 2 inch wide, 1 inch tall spiders where you live?

...I thought the spiders where I lived were bad!

I mean roughly speaking it' 1 block for 1 inch, I might be wrong, it's like 100 blocks from floor to ceiling, you figure it out, I'm bad at math

Damn son, you built that pretty fast!

I've been told I make good builds, but I take about a month to do a quarter of them :P And none of them were ever that big!

I cheated.... MCedit makes things easy to build.... Granted the fine details were still done in game.... but for the most part MCedit can make huge boxes, just have to go in game to tweek 'em to not look like huge boxes, heh heh heh heh

Also scaling things up in MC is interesting as it gets you to go around your house / apt & go, what would this look like made from just blocks

And I mean even something simple, mundane, everyday objects layin' 'round ya'
