Legacy LD5

After sitting around well into sleeping time waiting to see if Dino was going to join in for GW (a 'yay or nay' earlier at a sensible time is all I ask for so I don't have to ruin my busy scchedule), I've decided we ought to have a GW thread somewhere on the forum, for such things. And the Crackton board seems the most appropriate, hmm?

For those not in the know, in the last week of so Corey has created an LD5 guild on GW, starting from scratch in the first GW campaign "Prophecies". Bowing to peer pressure, I too went and bought myself a copy of the game, because it sounded like everyone was playing it. To warn everyone else, this is not the case; over the last few days i've seen maybe 30 minutes of Denare and 15 minutes of Corey. So don't feel pressured to join in, because sod all is happening, that's my advice! At least the game was cheap to buy and free to play.

In the hope that there are lurking GW players out there who are not aware of the guild being set up, I thought a forum post might bring them out of hiding. Also, I thought it'd be good to actually arrange a partying time beforehand on the board instead of randomly seeing if anyone is available, to see if there is any chance of actually making a viable regular partying guild. I do tend to get rather sucked into these things more than others, it appears, so if there's not going to be a regular time/party opportunity, I might well find a non-LD5 guild to join

I personally play a lot of MMOs. I have access to Guild Wars, City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, Everquest I & II, and Vanguard. If I know ahead of time of anyone who wants to play any of them I can try to meet up with people so long as we can manage toget o the same server (Guild Wars doesn't have that issue)

Well, I think we can at least play together on the weekends. Weeknights always seem to suck, but if we had one special weeknight where we had an appointment or something, that'd be cool.

Only if we get one for Crackton too.

I gots me EQ2 last night and it blew out my video card XD Pos and it was still brand new

Now I remember why I uninstalled Guild Wars in the first place.
I get to about level 12 or so, and find out that I'm basically stuck, and have to rely on others. And since there are so few of us playing it, I can't proceed.
I've got characters that have three unopened birthday gifts as it is. (Your characters each get a present on the yearly anniversary of their creation)

Well, we can always organize a weekly GW night. Shit, we still haven't done that for Crackton.
