Legacy LD5

Well, it's about time we got the Dome gang organized for the online gamings. Our current two games that peeps around here play are the Cracktons (City of Heroes/City of Villains) and Guild Wars. So here's a vote to pick the day...we'll worry about time later, but I can assume it'll be evening. And yes, it will be weekly. In the case of Crackton, it will alternate with heroes and villains, and when we get started, we'll all start out with n00b characters.

Edit: Hmm, even though they are check boxes and not radio buttons, don't seem to be able to select multiple days for the same game. Might be worth having a 'any day' option if that's the case.

I've gone for the same day as the existing vote, but it doesn't really mean anything, any day would suit me.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough...I am awfully small. The intention is to have one day per week for each game, presumably not the same night, unless we actually want to rotate one day over three games, and play Heroes one week, Villains the next, and Guild Wars the third. That would leave out people with extra long waits who don't have one of the games, though.

The speck also commanded me to add you are supposed to only vote for one day for each game, and that the lack of stating that you would love to and dont mind the day at all, or have several bestest days in the week for one game, shall be worked around by those folks coming back here and changing their vote when other people like other days that you like too, until it somehow swings to a halt with a bestest day for everyone.

what timezone evening? Since ya know, evening is different in eveyr part of the world

Hrm...since I guess that does impact lots of folks around the Woild(tm), I will say that times I would be available would be in the evenings during the week, and probably mornings on the weekend days. Evenings for me would be at earliest 5pm Alaska time on weekdays, but more conveniently around 7pm so I could have dinner first. Anytime weekend mornings would be fine. Only conflict on the weekend with Jenn is she has her regular Crackton team time Saturdays at 4pm Alaska time.

Alaska Time is GMT-9, but we're fucked with stupid Daylight Savings Time now, so we're an hour earlier, I guess.

5-7 pm Alaska would be 2-4 am here, sleepy dragon. Maybe this isn't a good idea after all. I'm changing my vote to a weekend morning, just for selfish reasons. Early weekend morning would be mid-late afternoon for me.

Which of course clashes with the Crackton time.

Yeah, 7 pm frozen-butts-country time is 11 pm for all those around New York and 5 am for us in central Europe. Extremely convenient.
That's why I voted for Saturday, as its the only day that people can usually both get on early (required for the western US folks) and stay up late (required for everyone more eastwards). Which is likely why Jenn's group already chose that of course!

Only other time that'd work with is your Sunday morning. ( Or Friday or Saturday night if you dont mind everything between California and Spain being asleep or forced to be up at unholy hours. )

Yes Dino, I hate to break that to you, but when you live on the end of the world like that you cannot just time something conveniently for you in your evening and expect anybody else to be still awake.

So FINE, unless we get some more votes, it looks like Saturday mid-morning sometime would be good, I guess for both games, since we can't even pick two separate days.

Saturday mid morning alaska time works for me. That's like 2 in the afternoon for me. I can handle that.

I might play Guild Wars sometime, actually. Today I have to zoom off and fix a road, though.

Well, Aeon and I played Guild Wars for a little while and it was phun, so it would certainly be cool if you joined us, Selendro.

As you may know, next weekend is Double XP weekend on Crackton, so...I imagine Blue wants me to set a time to be on, but since it's Double XP weekend, we'll be stocking up on ramen and hot pockets and we'll pretty much be on the whole time.

I should be playing on Villains side mostly, as I have a 42 whom I want to get as close to 50 as possible, so anyone who wants to be evil and help out, c'mon over!

Yeay, so everybody come on, come on, and do the locomotion with us.

Still have a such-levelled villain too, still couldnt decide which archvillain set to pick.
They somehow all seem to suck for brutes...
Oh, I'll love it. I so missed all the whining.

But... next weekend is a GW weekend! Nooo!
