I remember that one, too! I think that if Cilantro had a jillion bucks he would just be hoarding all these old movies with dinos and stomps in them, like that Matt Groening guy does vintage cartoons.
I already hoard movies. Ones with dinosaurs and monsters in them are part of it. Vintage cartoons too!
As a dragon, I would describe my hoard as mainly a media hoard. If you could see it, it might frighten you. Much like some dragons quest after things that are shiny, any movie or TV show that is weird, unique, visually appealing, or has a cool story behind it gets my attention instantly. I also collect silent films.
All this combined, it's no wonder I have at least two different copies of the 1925 The Lost World film. That movie had some really cool dinosaur effects years before King Kong, though it's obviously not quite as visually pizzazzy, there were still details in there that I think are really cool. Special effects tends to be more about the professionalism you approach it with rather than the technology, which is why Alien still looks good.
