about underside of a rex foot...
if you think elephants their underfoot is so solid, hard so they can step over rocks or any hard but sharp places which normally hurt a soft foot. A rex is more heavey then an elephant i guess so they need to have more solid underside...
but personelly i dont like that idea at stomping.. it feels like an ironbar dropping over the prey.. i want too see a softy underside and when it comes to bone (footbones after pressure geeting more) the squishing begins..
but the drawing is awesome!
I remember reading something a long time ago and trying to find it sexy, but couldn't quite manage to - that elephants' soles are tough, yes, but flexible. A tame elephant could step on its owner's hand without breaking it if it wanted to, presumably by either tensing or relaxing muscles.
I don't know how true that was even when I read it (to say nothing of these MODERN ELEPHANTS), but I'm sure you could apply the same thing to a rex if you aren't a fan of healthy, tough sole padding.
