I suddenly had an urge to move away from the anthro raptor characters, so I finally got around to modelling a classic rex! He isn't rigged up for animating or textured yet, but that will come shortly.

Check out the whirly animation here: rex_model.mov (2.4 MB)

:!: Be warned: Rex trampling in the Third Dimension will follow :!:

Impressive! Big numbers are cool as well - they represent lots of effort. Or the illusion of such! I don't know.

Oh, you don't want to go messing with a rex that has 46,500 faces and 92,000 tris...

And he did that in three damn days!
If I wasn't impressed (and intimidated) by rexes before, I sure am now.

Not everyone can keep modeling 3D shapes for about 5 hours and more without taking a rest.

this is fucking pure awesomeness!!!!

maann i was waiting for it after i saw your first 3D attemt..

you are probably the best trample 3D modeler, animator, texturer.. wow.. its rly hard to do them by someone alone.. as an animator, i got hard times with premade models i cant imagine if i try to make my own models, textures with it..

you make me learn maya if you go on like this..

i wish i was rich enough to support you with big numbers.. but honestly you should open an account for donating like paypal.. maybe you have already but i dont know it..

i am imagining the rex stomping on head of a little raptor or human... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2464635/ as animated!!! omg OOMMGG!!!

ehem i am realy very happy to see this :)

Epic rawrsome rex!
And a tiny bit toony. I like the smooth muscles and curves a lot though. *humps foot*
Does it need more legs muscle perhaps? I know the '98 Godzilla that I find much sexier than the old rubber ones doesn't have either, but... dunno.

Toony? Well, that's the point to me. That's precisely the 3D version of Diablo's style...he seamlessly and transparently POOF made his shit in Three Dee(tm).

And you're not impressed by rexes, Ahastar. You're depressed by them. :)
