Just a reminder to all: Fern Day is Thursday, June 16th, 2011 this year, so you know what that means.

Okay, fine. I'll leave my fresh copy of Duke Nukem Forever alone that day.

I'm downloading mine now! Get all the violence out before Fern Day.

Yes, it means no stomping people.

I'll spend the day working on video games, just like every week day. ^^ But I'll try to focus on something other than potential violence. Like... foliage.

Kinda sad, really.

Fern day is like Lent for Dino, only shorter.

Maybe 24 hours is actually more like the prescribed 960 in parasaur-hours.

Anyway, no worry about writing up the history. From the looks of it, I'd say it's all here.

No, that's not the real Fern Day. I guess I need to tell the story, at least in brief.

Fern Day, much like the name "Lava Dome" and "Dinosorceror", come from Dinosaucers, an ancient car-tune. Fern Day is a Reptilonian harvest holiday, and basically, all violence is forbidden for 24 hours, even among warring parties. Legend has it that if you're violent on Fern Day...you vanish.

So, this Thursday, no violence of any kind, or you're in trouble.

Isn't it more like 'you don't want to know' what happens if you do?

Well, that's the first answer you're supposed to give, but I thought I'd cut right through the mystique to the truth.

And, as usual, I had no idea I had lived it. Luckily, must not have gotten stepped on!
