Ahoy there!

I don't usually post stills from up-and-coming 3D work, but I think it's about time to start following Alternate Artisan's example there, so here's something I'm working on:

DESERT REXES

It won't be done for a while yet most likely, as I have a lot to do outside of the scaly world, AND inside it, I'm also working on something ridiculously massive with my excellent saurian colleague Ahastar.

Keep watching this space!

Yeay for yummy big rex.
The rappy on top has the best looking head out of the three though. That's probably why he gets to be top. Best head gets to be top theropod.

i was thinking about your next project... you are the only animator i am following :)..

still renders are nice to show ppl about projects and getting idea, comments about them..

i just wanna something about the rex texture.. its great but maybe you can give different color to the nails.. maybe black or white.. to notice the great paws of him..

and i am still waiting an animation about boxing ring and ivestigation from your old drawings :)

Heh, something tells me I can already predict Diablo's reply: that because he is a desert rex, a desert predator, his colors all match the sand so he can sneak up on raptors for stomping.

Either that, or the model is just a few stages beyond the early modeling, where it's all just one color, and he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

It's gotta be one or the other!

:slipper: Hrm...does that mean I should be pink?

So YOU can better sneak up on things to stomp them? :?

Andm that's how Equestria was made!

On topic: Ditto with everyone — I'm charged for when we can see this. On spotting the thumbnail up a while back in the index I'd assumed you'd already finished cranking out another animation already. I hadn't opened the thread given a level of busy-ness, in addition to waiting for a certain piece of gadgetry to arrive, which I thought would be nice to have in case of the viewing of any... provocative material. Anyway it's since then (just today) shown up in the mail. :B

Cheers, D-rex.
