Legacy LD5

So, since this is the fourth forum LD5 celebrates by now (and I hope this latest version lures an assload of members, old and new), allow me to kick it off with some suiting material, best of what I have to offer, all in one thread.

Edit: Or not - it seems for some reason I am unable to place any sort of pictures that go beyond the size of a poststamp without getting a timeout error.

Can we extend both the allowed file size and image resolution, please?

I've seen the attachment system work a couple times so far, the largest being 880X1220 pixels, and about 330KB. Your artz tend to be massive, detailed and upwards of 1000KB, so that might be why. If you have it uploaded elsewhere already, you could always use a text link. Alternatively, a direct image link through the image tags would bypass the attachment limitations, but could strain other users' systems when the page loads.

Ah well! Until raptor gets more SIZE, raptor will simply post hotlinks out of his gallery.

Current limit for attachment width in pixels is (and was): none.
Current limit for attachment height in pixels is (and was): none.
Current limit for attachment file size is (and was): none.
Maximum hard drive space in megabyte to be filled with attachments is (and was): 5000.
Maybe the connection between frozen toes country and Raptorland was once again poochy.
I disabled the setting that creates thumbnails though, maybe that was your problem.
(though I would personally like the forum to create thumbnails and not always download the internet when one takes a look at one of your posts... hmmm )

I tried three times, always with the same timeout error.
That error deserves the !, so thanks for trying to get rid of it.

Besides, there is nothing wrong with downloading the internet. That way you have it when you are offline.

OK, I see what you mean. Well I guess the speck will have to go into the Load Options crap or somthing and tell them that you are allowed to upload things that take longer than 30 seconds.

Hrm, that is weird. Must be a timeout somewheres, 'cause I'm not aware of any limits! I'm gonna go check now, though...

Nope, I see that Blue disabled thumbnails, but I kinda doubt that was it. If it's waiting too long for data from RaptorLand(tm), might have to check with IIS settings to see if there's a timeout there. Next time we're on Faibanx at the same time, we can maybe do some tests.

At Blue's prodding, I've investigated and fixed the 30 second timeout issue. I've increased the runtime of a script to be 120 seconds, so that should be long enough, even for ultra-sexy, ultra-large RaptorLand picture uploads.
