Legacy LD5

Hi everyone - RipRoarRex here with the second of three requests I have completed in the last week.


This sequence of two pictures was done as a request for TheForgottenCoon involving his character and Rexar. Because of the tongue-in-cheek nature of the idea, I decided to leave it as a cell-shaded sequence rather than blending it.


Rexar tracks down SubbyCoon and holds him at 'gunpoint'. The phrase "stickup" couldn't be more appropriate for what the tiny raccoon is about to experience...

I still say you should keep all of your artworks strictly cell shaded, but that is just the opinion of a hardcore raptor, of course.

Actually, I prefer the shading done in Dragonfest II...and damn, I didn't realize you posted all three to the forum...I thought by the "other new ones today" line at the end of the Dragonfest post meant we needed to go to your site to see the rest, so I did!

Yeah, my decision to leave it cell-shaded will probably divide opinion, but I thought the cartoony look was best for this light-hearted series.

And oh yes, Dino, I wouldn't just tease you all by posting just one of my bits of work here!

...although that would've gotten my site more hits...
