Maybe it is also because I am simply piss easy to draw with my white scales.
I can even understand if people do think "Ungh, not HIM again" when they see my raptorian likeness appearing in their art inbox on LD5 yet *another* time. But someone thinking that way probably doesn't see just how much work is going on in the background, and what sort of relationship is involved. The comic Diablo and me created together, for example, took a whole year of planning, patience and labour. And trust. As did some of the RPs we created on his website.
The best way to get drawn is to get involved. Pick up the pen, look yourself up some partners in art, make some good friends and enjoy a life filled with shared creativity. Right now, for example, I am involved in combined art projects with three other artists who aren't even on LD5. Be a lively part of the community, and chances are it will come back at you in a good way.
Oh, believe me, I'm not complaining. It's just that after spending some time in other similar communities it's almost shocking that so much of the art should center on one victim. XD I understand how relationships play into it. Very soon after I picked up on macros in the first place, I saw either yours or Diablo's art first... don't remember which... and it included, of course, the two of you. It was pretty clear you were friends.
I'm also not asking to be drawn... I know that if I -really- wanted to, I could devote a lot of my time to a single community or group and become well-known there. I'm just not the type of dragon that involves himself that much, I suppose.
