Hi folks, RipRoarRex here again.

Towards the end of last week it seems I ended up in that 'cartoon duck feet' mood again that had dominated my creative thinking in late April. As such, I got back to thinking about my 3 page comic "Mike - Duck'd" which I submitted in May. In particular, I was drawn to what happens in Panels 3-5 of the comic - which, if you don't remember, looked something like this:

As such, randomly last Friday night, I decided to open Flash and have a go at animating something similar. Over the course of the Friday night and Sunday afternoon, I essentially ended up producing a little animated loop of these three panels.

And here's the result: Click Here

Alternatively, Click Here to see the embedded version on my FA page.

Just a quickie really - I have far more ambitious animation projects in progress and in mind, but given the constraints on my time, it is incredibly unlikely I will ever finish them...

:(

But in any case, hope this repetitive stompage is enough to keep you going in the meantime!! :)

Yes, very nicely done!

It looks alarmingly professional, in fact. Just the sort of thing you'd see in an old kids' cartoon. Before they all turned into creepy, lousily-drawn Anime, that is...

with utterly style-breaking, interwoven glossy Poser models crammed into it *shudders*.
We definietly need more classic animation, and just like this!

Quite! No offence to anybody who enjoys or uses the style but I've never personally been a fan of Anime - nor indeed of Japanese cartoons as a whole. Anime always niggled me when I was growing up and developing my style, while many people my age were just using "How To" Anime books and drawing much-of-a-muchness-type people with pointy hair.

 Heh!

Glad it's appreciated anyway. As I say, this was only a very quick project that was completed over two days. If I should ever finish the other animations I have in the pipeline, they should be far more impressive.

;)

Thanks, folks!
