I may have already posted this some time ago here or perhaps it was on eccentricities, but anyway.

The question is, why do you like scalie paws? what is the cause of your affinity and what aspect about them in particular are you so attracted to?

And no, a number will not count as an answer~

- For me, while I don't nessesarily have a scalie (three toed, claws and pads) paw fetish, I do admire the slender appearence of scalies and yes, I will thoroughly enjoy scalies with more humanesque feet.

Now the origins of my fascination derrived from my furry foot fetish, which ofcourse derived from my even older, human foot fetish.- Now its, Your turn.

This is... different. Revealing the origins of our introduction to the fandom is one thing, but explaining why we like what we do? You're better off asking the kids from the Apple Jacks commercials.

...

No, seriously. Psychology is far from my field, but I know enough to know that furry feetsies trigger a switch in my brain to let loose with the dopamine. I know how to activate my libido or cheer myself up at will. And what do 'normal guys' do? They have date after date with Rosie Palms while staring at bare breasts on a screen or in print, crying on the inside because they can't have the real thing. Since my ideal mate is an anthromorph, which will likely never become a 'real thing' in my lifetime, I am perfectly satisfied with what I've got. Sure, the furry fandom may be Internet Hate Machine's favorite target, but in the eyes of the general populace outside of that particular demographic, my turn-ons could be far worse.

I like the perceived power that dinosaurs and dragons have and I find the sleek, neat compactness of a scaly body far more attractive than mammalian attributes - with the one exception of foot pads, which, for some reason, rock tremendously on any animal class.

Not being a biologist or a psychologist, I can't say for sure, but I think the foot fetish is just something I was born with, while the scaly fixation is probably a mixture of my perception of reptiles as powerful and of the plain old conditioned response of wanking an awful lot over them. I'd like to think that the whole thing is hardwired from birth, but I think it's more likely that these sexual fixations strengthen and develop largely because of our own actions. Probably not enough that we could have changed them much by exposing ourselves to different pornographic material, but it seems a bit silly to think that there's a set of conditions that arise to biologically fix someone as a scaly foot fetishist...

Sprotchy couldn't have said it better, though: my turn-ons could be far worse.

I'm glad this topic is starting to spark enlightened debate~

From what I do know about sexuality and fetishes, I understand that alot of the time it's a conditioned response, especially when it comes to odd fetishes that only exist in the realm of fantasy Ie: macrophilia and furries. The cause of which is probably exposure at a young age to some kind of stimuli and the ultimate evolution of that experience into something sexual as we hit puberty.

I mean, I've had my foot fetish since I was little but never considered it to be anything sexual until I hit puberty. From what I recall, it was all the result of some 'unusual' method of babysitting on behalf of my female cousin~
This is easy to understand for my case because it was physical and all. but for things like scalies and whatnot I can't fully explain. some people may have moved onto scalies from earlier human-oriented fetishes like me. but others seemed to have just appeared in the middle of them.

heh, it's ironic in a sense...
I'd like t think everything has a natural evolutionary backlog. But for Diablo. seems his fetish just popped miraculously into existance... sort of a case of 'sexual creation'

I am not into feet, but the question holds just the same for loving reptiles or an other 'not normal' thing.

The liking is there, and there is nothing wrong with it. Experiences and childhood exposure probably have a lot to do with it, but I dont think anybody deducted (big + doimination + weight fetish = feet) that feet is the thing they should turn towards. ;)

There is surely a lot of different things that different people like about feet, but the cause of that affinity?

As a fellow (and usually trampled) raptor buddy of mine would say, If you are fine with it, why bother? :)

well i guess one reason why i like them is id prefer a smooth non furry paw over a furry one like a wolf's, not that wolf paws are bad just saying atlest i could lick at them without geting fur in my mouth <^.=.^> that and i fined repltiles especialy dragons attractive. :claw: :claw: one ast thing idk why but i like 3 toes instead of 4 or 5. don know why it just turns me on.
